I am fully insured and have years of experience caring for my own animals, pet sitting for friends and family, as well as volunteering at a local rescue as a Kennel Attendant. You can rest assured that your pets are in good hands when you leave them with Amanda the Pet Sitter!

A Little About Me
I live in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina with my husband, 3 dogs (Nala, Willow, and Delilah), my three cats (Grace, Lego, and Cosmo), and three Dormice (Remi, Jaq, and Gus Gus). We moved here in 2019 from Northfield, MA. I have always loved caring for animals of all kinds. I volunteer at the local animal rescue, Rainbow Rescue in my free time. Recently I decided to turn my passion for animals into a business and started Amanda The Pet Sitter so I can work with pets full time. Thank you for all of your support!
Dog Walks/Pet Check in’s
- Offered within a 25 mile radius.
- Up to 30 min. of walking and/or play time.
- Can top off food/water bowls, scoop litter boxes ect.
- Will send a text update/picture of your furry friend at each visit!
$17/per visit (in Roanoke Rapids)
$22/per visit (up to 25 miles)
$5/per extra dog for walking
Pet Sitting
- I’ll come to you!
- Let your pet relax in the comfort of their own home.
- I will come stay at your residence and follow any needed instructions.
- I will provide daily text/photo updates while you are away so you can rest assured your pet is in good hands.
- Up to 3 pets, $5 fee per extra pet per day.
$55/day within 25mi
$65/day within 50 miles

Terms and Conditions:
- In house pet sitting is based on a 12pm-12pm 24 hour schedule. Additional fee may apply for time required after 12pm on final day.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to start date may be subject to a cancellation fee of $20/day or $5 per check in.
- For new client bookings, a 50% of the total fee will be required by the first day of the booking. The remaining 50% can be paid upon completion. Alternate arrangements can be made for repeat clients if requested.

Now that we’ve figured out how I can help care for your pets, it’s time to set up a time to meet. This will give everyone a chance to get familiar and we can go over any specific details about your pets.

Once we’ve gone over your pets needs and have done introductions all that is left is to get you on the schedule. I can set up a repeated regular visit or just contact me when you need me! Send me a message for any questions about availability.
